Seoul, Korea(5/2-5/6)

Day 1: 

Incheon airport!! 

First meal in Korea, the shop's name 雪花. It was yummy !! 

And really happy to meet Cliff!!! It's been one whole year since I last meet him in Taiwan. 

@Ewha girls uni. Used Mavis's paranoma lens so all three of us can fit in. :)

Dinner at... Hmm forget about the shops name. The beef and 냉면was fantastic!! 

Day 2:

만두 for breakfast !!

Walked around 경북궁

Was so tried after that .. Rest in cafe for a whille. 

went several places after that. Had to say goodbye with cliff at around 1600 cause he had to go back to prepare for the class tomorrow. It was so nice spending these two days with him! Hope can see him soon!!

It wa only until 2030 that we had our 2nd meal of the day. 삼게탕.

Went 청계천 afterwards! It's really nice to walk around the area after a full big dinner. :)

 

Finally, mistery solved!

Spending time watching dramas has always been consider to  a waste of time.But sometimes the stories and materials of these drama can be knowledgeable too.After all we can't deny that the writers must have put a lot of effort in composing the story especially for crime dramas.

While I was wasting my time watching "Elementary" today I found out that one of the character has the same thumb shape as I do!  The special thumb shape is called a "clubbed thumb" also know as murder's thumb(...), porter's thumb and Dutch thumb.

Clubbed thumb is a type D of Brachydactly which means the "shortness of the fingers and toes"(from Wiki). And there are actually millions of people who has this type D condition. The most famous person with a clubbed thumb would be Megan Fox, the sexist woman in the world according to FHM 2008. There's even a website about her clubbed thumb(which I found quite weird though..)

I grew up feeling inferior because my thumb is just so different. It got worse after I was laugh by classmates when I was in elementary school. Of course now I am no longer bothered by this but I still tend to hide my thumb when making a fist.

But now that I know it is nothing big, many people actually are just like me and it is something inherited, which means there's really nothing I can do about it. It is really a great relive! The thing that had been puzzled me for the past 27 years can no longer trouble me!

So I guess watching shows isn't really that bad, I can actually LEARN something out of it!!

ドラマなどの娯楽を見て時間を過ごしては時間を無駄にするとよく言われます。けれど、時々ドラマの物語から、勉強できるものもあるんだ。ドラマはほとんどフィクションですが、脚本家もあの物語書くために、様々な資料を集めて、それであのストーリーを書きました。推理物語は特に難しいと思います。

Afternoon tea at bills Omotesando

Met カルラさんとエミルさん for afternoon tea at bills Omotesando!

Upon sitting down, the waitress showed us the menu of theEnglish side.(The menu has two sides, with Japanese and English) 

Which was a great help because I really have difficulty in reading so many katakana..

Somehow the pancake taste a lot better than last time when Ariel and I went last December.

Maybe I was just too full last time. 

The banana panacke is really awesome, 40min of queuing plus 20 more min waiting for the food really worth it!!! 

Anyway had a great time with friends. 

Don't think will be seeing them sometime soon since Carla is going back to Spain at the end of this month and エミル will be start working next month as I do.

Glad I asked them out!!

Chaos continues in 2015..

Yesterday, a shocking news hit the people in Taiwan. 
6 prisoners tried to break out of Kaohsiung jail and took hostages to demand for freedom.
Thought things like this will only take place in American drama, can't believe its happening here in my hometown.
Woke up this morning, turned on the TV to check out the updates, and surprisingly found out the 6 of them shot themselves and died.

Its good to say that no hostage was harmed, however this is really not the ending that everyone hope to see. 
Maybe they were so helpless and thought there's nothing they can do about it. But suicide is definitely the worst choice one can make. There's never going to be any hope if the person can no longer having conversation isn't it.  

Anyway the world is still in a real chaos, thought this would end in 2015.

If there's really God, I pray that the world just gets better and happier for people every single day.
